Job Description

1. Manage all aspects of the company's sales activities

2. Manage all phases of the company's marketing activities through Interaction with local leaders and the home office marketing team

3. Oversee and manage existing physician luminary relationships and forge new ones

4. Oversee and manage existing product and procedure training programs for both internal employees and outside customers

5. Oversee and manage new product introductions and launches

6. Create and implement innovative tools and processes to assess the efficacy of local marketing programs

7. Regularly liaise with the home office regarding local operation sales status, results, and plans

8. Ensure that marketing programs are executed in a manner consistent with the company's global strategy while taking into consideration local requirements

9. Track and assess performance and regularly communicate results and outcomes to the home office sales and marketing teams

10. Work with the operation's service and administration departments to ensure realization of overall company goals and objectives

 

Qualifications

1. Minimum of 10 years experience in sales and sales management with a demonstrated record of achievement, a substantial portion of which should be in medical device and equipment industries.

2. Demonstrated ability to identify, hire, develop, and retain top talent

3. Success in identifying, nurturing, and expanding new business ventures

4. At least 5 years experience in marketing, with strong understanding of Product management, New business development, Luminary selection and development.

5. General Manager/Country Manager potential; sound business judgment and leadership presence

6. Fluent English and Japanese (spoken and written) ability

7. Strong leader that fosters teamwork, and leads and motivates through integrative decision-making

8. Recognizes development needs and coaches to improve performance; establishes priorities with clear goals and responsibilities to get results and motivate people to exceed expectations

9. Strong sense of initiative and self-starter

10. Creative and innovative problem solver

11. Consummate communication skills, with the ability to deliver convincing, compelling

12. Effective presentations to a wide audience group-physicians, employees, and home office senior management
